Pay-on-Delivery (P-o-D) is an alternate method of purchasing from us, other than Online (By Debit card and Netbanking). In the P-o-D payment terms or P-o-D service, you pay at the time of the actual delivery with cash or by using our Point of Service (POS) terminal, rather than paying in advance. 2/ Are there any hidden terms and conditions for a P-o-D purchase?

The maximum order value for a Cash P-o-D payment is N100,000. There is no limit on the POS P-o-D payment. It’s strictly a cash or debit card only payment method; e-Gift Vouchers cannot be used for P-o-D orders.
Please note, we do not accept foreign currency as payment against a P-o-D order.

3/ How do I pay using a Debit card and is it safe?

We accept all cards such as VISA, Verve, and MasterCards – only Nigerian cards are supported and not International. Customers will need to key in their 16-digit Debit Card number and the 3 digit CVV Code (Card Verification Value – found on the back of the card) and complete the payment flow.
All Debit card details remain confidential and private. Naijafoodstuff.com and our trusted payment gateways use SSL encryption technology to protect your card information.

Membership $ Wallet

1/ Membership Eligibility

Use of the Naijafoodstuff.com Website is available only to persons who can form legally binding contracts under Nigerian governing laws. If you are a minor i.e. under the age of 18 years, you shall not register as a member of Naijafoodstuff.com and shall not transact or use Naijafoodstuff.com website. As a minor, if you wish to use or transact on Naijafoodstuff.com, such use or transaction may be made by your legal guardian or parents who have registered as users of Naijafoodstuff.com. Naijafoodstuff.com reserves the right to terminate your membership and refuse to provide you with access to Naijafoodstuff.com if it is brought to Naijafoodstuff.com’s notice or if it is discovered that you are under the age of 18 years.

2/ Your Account and Registration Obligations
If you use Naijafoodstuff.com, you shall be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your User ID, Personal Identification Number (PIN), Password and any other access credential set as may be required and you shall be responsible for all activities that occur under your access credentials. You agree that if you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete that Naijafoodstuff.com has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or not in accordance with the Terms of Use, Naijafoodstuff.com has the right to indefinitely suspend or terminate or block access of your membership with Naijafoodstuff.com and refuse to provide you with access to the Website.

3/ Wallet

Your Naijafoodstuff.com wallet is similar to a real life wallet where you can store money against your purchases. You make payments from your wallet if it has been loaded through bank transfers, bank deposits, promotional credits or simply giving cash to our dispatch riders at the point of delivery.

You can also use your wallet to make part payments against an order and pay the balance using our P-O-D (Pay-on-Delivery) option.

  • Wallet

The Wallet (“Wallet”) is a pre-paid payment instrument which is associated with your Naijafoodstuff.com account. You can maintain a balance of money with Naijafoodstuff.com and redeem it at your convenience.
1. Naijafoodstuff.com will not pay any interest on the amount maintained by you in your Wallet.
2. Refill of Wallet: Your Wallet can be refilled, using any of the pre-paid payment options only. You will be able to recharge your Wallet up to an amount of N1,000,000 in one instance. There is no need to maintain a minimum balance.
3. Refund of Wallet Amount: Your wallet comprises of three types of balances – Store credit (which is a credit granted by typically in lieu of a cancelled order), Topped-up balance (which is a prepaid amount that you added to wallet to pay for future orders on Naijafoodstuff.com) and Promotional balance (which is credit granted by Naijafoodstuff.com purely for promotional or goodwill purposes). Topped-up balance (prepaid amount), as well as the Promotional balance added to the Wallet, will be non-refundable While Store credit will continue to be entirely refundable.
4. Limitation of Liability: In no event will Naijafoodstuff.com be liable for any special, incidental, indirect or consequential damages or losses of any kind, arising from the use of Wallet or association with the Wallet

4/ Breach

Without limiting other remedies, Naijafoodstuff.com may limit your activity, immediately remove your information, warn other Users of your actions, immediately temporarily/indefinitely suspend or terminate or block your membership, and/or refuse to provide you with access to Naijafoodstuff.com website in the event, but not limited to:

1.    If you breach the Terms of Use or Privacy Policy or other rules and  policies, if any;
2.    If Naijafoodstuff.com is unable to verify or authenticate any information you provide; or
3.    If it is believed that your actions may cause legal liability for you, other Users or Naijafoodstuff.com. Naijafoodstuff.com may at any time at its sole discretion reinstate suspended users.
A User that has been suspended or blocked may not register or attempt to register with Naijafoodstuff.com or use Naijafoodstuff.com Website in any manner whatsoever until such time that such User is reinstated by Naijafoodstuff.com. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if you breach the Terms of Use or Privacy Policy or other rules and policies, Naijafoodstuff.com reserves the right to recover any amounts due and owing by you to Naijafoodstuff.com and to take strict legal action including but not limited to a referral to the appropriate police or other authorities for initiating criminal or other proceedings against you.

5/ Indemnity

You shall indemnify and hold harmless Naijafoodstuff.com its owner, licensee, affiliates, subsidiaries, group companies (as applicable) and their respective officers, directors, agents, and employees, from any claim or demand, or actions including attorneys’ fees, made by you or any third party or penalty imposed due to or arising out of your use of the goods or services, or in the event you breach this Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy, and other Policies, or your violation of any law, rules or regulations or the rights of a third party on Naijafoodstuff.com
